The January 6th edition of Monday Night RAW, which will also be the brand's premiere on Netflix, is an important event for WWE. To celebrate the same, the promotion has advertised some top superstars like Roman Reigns and John Cena and also booked some great matches that will see high-level wrestlers compete.
The Stamford-based promotion has announced two matches - Seth Rollins vs CM Punk and Roman Reigns vs Solo Sikoa (Tribal Combat). The burning question is which match will be the main event on January 6th. WWE commentator Michael Cole recently revealed the answer to this question.
On the recently concluded RAW on Netflix Kickoff show, the veteran commentator mentioned that it will be Seth Rollins and CM Punk headlining the card on January 6th. After all, unlike Reigns and Sikoa, who belong to SmackDown, Rollins and Punk are both pillars around whom the RAW roster is built.
Also, the animosity between the two makes the rivalry deserve a main event spot. It will be interesting to see whether the match between Rollins and Punk on January 6th will be the ending of a longtime rivalry or whether it will only make the two men hate each other even more.
Major WWE Superstar set to move to Monday Night RAW at the brand's premiere on Netflix
As mentioned above, Triple H is leaving no stone unturned in making Monday Night RAW's Netflix premiere a grand success. While The Game has already advertised big superstars and high stake matches, it recently came to light that a major WWE Superstar will be switching to the red brand on January 6th.
The major WWE Superstar who will be making this move is former United States Champion Logan Paul. At the RAW on Netflix Kickoff show earlier, Logan made a surprise event at WWE Headquarters and cut a promo in which he mentioned he would be joining the red brand on January 6th.
In his promo, The Maverick levied praise on Triple H and further went on to state that he was better than everyone else on the main roster. Logan also named dropped boxing legend Mike Tyson and former 2-division UFC Champion Conor McGregor. Logan mentioned these men wanted to fight him.
Overall, Logan Paul's inclusion on RAW is an exciting move for him and the brand. After a successful United States Championship run, which came to an end at SummerSlam earlier this year, Logan could potentially challenge for the Intercontinental Title or the World Heavyweight Championship.
