Many fans, myself included, believed that The Miz was going to win the Money in the Bank briefcase this year and that it would be the catalyst for his return to the main-event scene on SmackDown.

Alas, it wasn't to be, and The Miz still finds himself sitting on the periphery of main event stardom on Tuesday nights.

That really needs to change soon, and that change should begin this Tuesday night. The Miz should come out enraged by his inability to win the briefcase, leading to him demanding a shot at AJ Styles' title at Extreme Rules.

Should The Miz dethrone AJ Styles? It's tough to say- The Miz is destined to feud with Daniel Bryan in the near future, and that feud should draw whether the title is involved or not.
