Over the years, The Rock has become a globally popular celebrity. While The Brahma Bull garnered plenty of popularity during his time in WWE, the 51-year-old, in recent times, has been known for his acting. The Rock's popularity around the world has led to several people loving him and paying their respect.

In one such instance, the Grévin Museum in Paris, France, made a wax figure of the former WWE Superstar. However, in recent times, the figure has been criticized.

On Sunday, actor James Jefferson Jr. shared a video poking fun at The Rock's wax figure. Since then, the figure has received criticism for displaying a skin tone several shades lighter than The Rock's.

In response, The People's Champion reposted Jefferson Jr's. video, and said he would have his team reach out to the museum to update his wax figure. The star actor also added that the next time he is in Paris, he will stop and have a drink with himself.

The Rock wrote:

“I knew my boy @jamesjeffersonj had this Rock wax statue in his roasting crosshairs 😂💣🔥 Is this how y’all felt when you lost the Little Mermaid?’ 🤣 legit belly laughed at this ☝🏾. For the record, I’m going to have my team reach out to our friends at Grevin Museum, in Paris France 🇫🇷 so we can work at ‘updating’ my wax figure here with some important details and improvements- starting with my skin color 🤣✊🏾💪🏾 And next time I’m in Paris, I’ll stop in and have a drink with myself 🥃 😉."

Since posting the video, The Rock received an outpouring of love from his fans. On the other hand, the museum also added that the statue would be updated.

WWE legend Ric Flair comments on The Rock

During his time in WWE, The Rock had memorable feuds against the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, John Cena, and several others. While he put up great matches against these individuals, The Rock's mic skills during these feuds are what caught the attention of many.

One such man who spoke about The Rock's mic skills is WWE legend Ric Flair. During his appearance on The Breakfast Club Power 105.1 FM podcast, Flair mentioned that The Rock could be on wrestling's Mount Rushmore for his mic skills but not his wrestling.

Ric Flair said:

"He [The Rock] would be except he didn't stay long enough. I think part of the Mount Rushmore is longevity, you know, it's hard to be really good and Rock was great, I mean, but he took off and he's on my Mount Rushmore for interview skills and everything else and I remain very close to him," Flair said. While The Rock did arguably leave wrestling early, the impact he had on fans is second to none. The same could be seen when The People's Champion made his return on WWE SmackDown last month.
