The current match card for WWE Night of Champions

This week's Monday Night RAW and SmackDown episode will mark the final shows before the long-awaited Night of Champions event. So far, six matches have been confirmed for the PLE.

One of the non-title bouts for the event includes Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus. The Hall of Famer has been insulting The Man nonstop during the latter's brief absence. Once Big Time Becks returned, she made quick work of her former partner, and a match between the two was made.

Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar will face for the second time. After The American Nightmare scored a win in their first match at Backlash, The Beast Incarnate is looking to exact revenge soon.

RAW Women's Champion Bianca Belair will square off against Asuka in a title match. Both stars were previously on the red brand but have since extended their feud at the Friday show.

Intercontinental Champion Gunther is also going to defend his title against Mustafa Ali. The latter became the number one contender after winning a battle royal on Monday Night RAW.

The Undisputed Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are slated to defend their titles against Bloodline members Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa.

Finally, Seth Rollins and AJ Styles will battle it out for the World Heavyweight Championship. The winner will be the inaugural champion.

It remains to be seen if more superstars and matches will be announced on this week's episodes of the red and blue brands for WWE Night of Champions.
