WWE Superstars Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa are ready to battle each other in the Tribal Combat Match on RAW’s Netflix debut. While the winner would get control of the Ula Fala, another prize could be looming. Dubbed the Tribal Chief Championship, here’s all you need to know about the potential new title.
According to WrestleVotes Radio on Backstage Pass, JoeyVotes and TC reported the involvement of a 'Tribal Chief Championship.' They noted that WWE could bring the title to further build and expand on the storyline of the two branches of The Bloodline.
However, the report did not claim to know when WWE could be releasing the title. It could either be a coveted prize for either Roman Reigns or Solo Sikoa at the Netflix premiere, or it could be their prize for WrestleMania 41. The championship could be an additional symbol alongside the Ula Fala to mark the real Tribal Chief.
Former WWE writer buries Judgment Day HERE
Solo Sikoa is the current wielder of the Ula Fala and has taunted Roman Reigns several times to come and take it. Although the OTC got a chance to wear the prestigious Samoan garland once after his return to SmackDown, the moment was short-lived as Jacob Fatu annihilated him shortly after.
WWE could make The Rock The Final Boss for the Tribal Championship
The Rock joined The Bloodline ahead of WrestleMania XL and was a big part of its storyline in early 2024. This fueled the constant Rock versus Reigns demands to inflate and become a match for the title of the Tribal Chief. While The Brahma Bull stayed loyal to the OTC till the end, he could now be an obstacle in his path.
Considering that WWE is rumored to release a new title, the Stamford-based promotion may not want to give it away on the same night the Ula Fala takes center stage. The Rock could use his position as TKO Group Holdings' board member to introduce the title and be its first wielder and guardian.
Thus, if Roman Reigns wins the prestigious garland, he will have to take another step to solidify his rise to power. The Rock has already seemingly marked the OTC as a target when he made a cameo appearance at Bad Blood where Reigns teamed up with Cody Rhodes.
The term "Final Boss" could take a whole new meaning for the former WWE Champion. It would be interesting to see if and when the Tribal Championship gets introduced in The Bloodline saga.
