Over the last few months, Joe Hendry has been one of the most popular names on the professional wrestling scene. While Hendry has been making appearances in TNA, he has also been appearing on NXT and is booked to wrestle Joe Coffey on the upcoming episode of NXT.

These constant appearances Hendry has been making for the promotion have led to many questioning what deal WWE signed with TNA to make it possible. During an appearance on The Wrestling Matt, Hendry explained the arrangement between the two companies.

He said he could appear as a TNA contracted talent on either promotion, among other indie shows, and train at WWE's Performance Center full-time. He noted it was an unprecedented arrangement and was very thankful to all involved.

"TNA Wrestling has worked it out with WWE... I can appear as a TNA contracted talent, I can appear on NXT, I can train at the Performance Center full-time, and do indies and do signings. This is unprecedented, has never been done before in the business. So, thank you to TNA and WWE for figuring it out," he said. [3:21 - 3:44]

He also added that he was training at the Performance Center and working as hard as he could as he was always striving to hone his skills and improve his craft.

"My viewpoint is you can only do your best with the knowledge you have at the time. So, I just prepare, prepare, prepare. I have no ego when it comes to getting better, that’s why I’m training at the PC. I feel like I’m never just going to rest on the skills I’ve got, I’m always going build to something more," he added. Hendry has made great use of the Performance Center until now. He worked class with Terry Taylor, who once led the PC finishing class with Shawn Michaels. Apart from this, Hendry has also been training at the Dungeon 2.0 with Tyson Kidd and Natalya.

Joe Hendry sent a message to Booker T on social media

On an episode of NXT, Joe Hendry followed The Rock in having his own concert. During this performance, he referenced Booker T. Hendry showed a clip of the veteran wearing a kilt, and presenting him with a title.

Hendy called Booker "the new President of the Joe Hendy Fan Club." Later, he also made sure to congratulate the former World Heavyweight Champion in a post on X (fka Twitter).

"Congrats to @BookerT5x on becoming the new President of the Joe Hendry fan club," he wrote.

With all this momentum, it will be interesting to see how Joe Hendry is booked in WWE and TNA. However, before any of that, it will be interesting to see how he performs against Joe Coffey on next week's episode of NXT.
