Drew McIntyre has taken to Hollywood as the WWE star will make his acting debut in The Killer's Game. The action comedy movie will be released on September 13 in the United States.

Former WWE star Batista is the lead star and plays Joe Flood. He is a veteran assassin who mistakenly places a hit on himself after being misdiagnosed with a severe illness.

The Lionsgate movie also stars Sofia Boutella (Kingsman: The Secret Service), Terry Crews (White Chicks), and Ben Kingsley (Shutter Island). It's quite the cast for Drew McIntyre to put his acting chops to the test for the first time in Hollywood.

The 39-year-old plays a character named Rory Mackenzie and will likely be one of several assassins who target Flood (Batista). The Scot joined the cast in July 2023, and the film's production began in Budapest, Hungary. J.J. Perry directs in his second major flick since his debut movie, Day Shift (2022).

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

Drew McIntyre promoted the movie recently on his X/Twitter account by tagging Batista. He hilariously captioned the promotion 'The Summer of Hunk,' a play on CM Punk's famous 'Summer of Punk' main event run in 2012.

Drew McIntyre and CM Punk have played mind games on WWE RAW for several months. The arch-rivals will lock horns at WWE SummerSlam on August 3, with Seth Rollins named the special guest referee.

McIntyre has become quite renowned for his online trolling, and he took to X/Twitter after Seth Rollins was named special guest referee for his bout at SummerSlam. The former World Heavyweight Champion took a dig at The Architect:

"Spotlight Junkie Seth Rollins stay out of a hot feud challenge. * IMPOSSIBLE *."

McIntyre has had issues with Rollins, and they feuded earlier this year. He beat the former Shield member to win the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XL.

The Scot basked in his victory by over-celebrating in front of CM Punk, who was on commentary. The Voice of the Voiceless attacked his fierce foe, leading to Damian Priest cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase and dethroning The Chosen One.

The rivalry between McIntyre and Punk is red-hot, and Rollins is an intriguing addition. It will be interesting to see whether he takes a side when the pair battle at WWE SummerSlam in Cleveland, Ohio next Saturday.
