What WWE Starrcade tells us about the Crown Jewel results

#2 Drew McIntyre will not interfere in the Universal Championship match

The Dogs of War aren't done yet

Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar will be the two men who try to run down Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at Crown Jewel.

The match is most likely to main event, and therefore a lot of effort has been put in to build the same. On the October 16 episode of Raw, we saw Drew McIntyre finally attack Braun Strowman after their match with The Shield.

Braun Strowman later Tweeted about the same and warned Drew McIntyre that he is coming for him after defeating The Big Dog, finally confirming the new rivalry.

However, a match between The Dogs of War and The Shield have been confirmed for the Starrcade event which will be a Cincinnati Street Fight. This means that Strowman, Ziggler, and McIntyre will once again team up to Main event the Live show. With that said, it also gave the possibility of Drew McIntyre interfering in the title match at Crown Jewel, costing him a chance to win the title.

This means that the WWE won’t push the rivalry any further till after the Starrcade event, which could see more fireworks between the two men.

It can also be taken as a confirmation that neither of the three members of The Shield will turn against each other before Starrcade.
