When 4-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion kissed Stephanie McMahon in front of Triple H; what happened next?

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are arguably the most well-known WWE couple in history, possibly for the entire sport. Their on-screen romance blossomed into real life, but their romance continued to be used for storylines years later, one even including Randy Orton and the rest of the McMahons in 2009.

In early 2009, Randy Orton and former RAW General Manager Stephanie McMahon had a backstage disagreement, wherein the former called the latter worthless and Stephanie responded with a slap to the face. Vince McMahon confronted The Viper on RAW after, Randy said the same things about The Billion Dollar Princess, angering Mr. McMahon. Before the former chairman could fire Orton, the 14-time World Champion punted Vince.

Randy's actions got Shane McMahon's attention, resulting in a match in which the former won. Despite the win, Randy continued the attack, which led to Stephanie arriving to help her brother but was RKO'd instead. The action prompted Triple H to come out and help his wife, which kicked off his feud with Randy for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 25.

Randy and Triple had several confrontations since then, but the most intense and personal was on the Monday show's March 23, 2009, episode. The Legacy handcuffed Triple H to the ropes, and while attacking him, Stephanie came out later to plead for it to stop. However, Orton DDT'ed McMahon instead and sealed it with a kiss.

After what transpired, Randy challenged The Game before their match at 'Mania. Instead of meeting just the latter, Vince and Shane also appeared and took out The Legacy.
