Brock Lesnar is known for being a fierce competitor in WWE and has almost never broken character during a segment either on RAW or SmackDown. However, there was once a time when the former WWE Champion was forced to break character during a segment with R-Truth.

The 52-year-old veteran wrestler recently opened up about this segment with The Beast Incarnate and revealed how Paul Heyman, Lesnar's on-screen advocate during the time, was also involved in that segment.

"Me and Paul (Heyman) talked about it before going out. At first, I was like, 'I think we should let Brock know what we're gonna talk about. He is The Beast Incarnate.' He was like, 'Nah, it'll be good. Let's try this out.' There was a point where I knew I had Brock because he was caught up in the story I was talking about. And when I knew I was gonna deliver the line and he laughed, I felt like I could check that off from my box. That was a memorable moment that went down in history, I will never forget. I don't think a lot of people will ever forget," R-Truth recalled during an interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling (segment starts at 0:45 onwards).

This promo being discussed took place back on January 13, 2020, just a couple of weeks before the Royal Rumble. Heyman and Lesnar were talking about the latter walking out of the event as the WWE Champion before R-Truth interfered.

Truth had a chat with Paul Heyman in the ring, which forced The Beast Incarnate to laugh and break character.

Paul Heyman calls Brock Lesnar 'unique'

Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar have a special relationship. The two have been working together ever since Lesnar moved to WWE more than two decades ago.

Recently, the WWE Hall of Famer opened up about The Beast Incarnate, who has been out for more than a year, and explained why he considers him a 'unique' athlete.

"Brock Lesnar always had it. Brock Lesnar always understood. Brock Lesnar always knew he was unique. He was different. He wasn’t gonna be the same as everybody else. And the more he grew in stature and leverage, the more we could dictate the manner in which he was gonna be presented. There’s no one like Brock Lesnar. I mean, even his most die-hard competitors will tell you," Paul Heyman said in a recent interview during the Fanatics Fest event in New York, via Sportskeeda Wrestling.

As for the former world champion, the last time he showed up was at SummerSlam in August 2023, when he took on Cody Rhodes. WWE has hinted at a return within 2025, but it remains to be seen if it will happen and who his next opponent will be.
