It has been five weeks since CM Punk appeared on WWE TV. In his last appearance, in the opening segment of RAW on October 7, The Best in the World addressed the WWE Universe.
It was a couple of days after his Hell in a Cell victory over Drew McIntyre at Bad Blood, which ended his rivalry with The Scottish Warrior. CM Punk said he would take time off to recover from the injuries he sustained during the match and didn't provide any timetable for his return.
However, it looks like Punk has a return date now, and this could be December 26, when WWE will host a live event at the legendary Madison Square Garden in New York. Still, there is no official date on when he will show up on WWE TV.
A report from Fightful suggests that CM Punk will be present on the November 11 episode of Monday Night RAW, but there is no confirmation about his appearance or what he could do.

What are the plans for CM Punk in WWE?
CM Punk stood tall in a rivalry with Drew McIntyre that lasted almost nine months and saw the two megastars fight in three straight premium live events (SummerSlam, Bash in Berlin, and Bad Blood, respectively).
After winning his feud with The Scottish Warrior, The Best in the World has moved his attention to the World Heavyweight Championship and his rivalry with Seth Rollins.
Punk has made it clear that he will go after Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship, but this will not happen at Survivor Series, as The Ring General will take on Damian Priest at the PLE. If he stands tall, Gunther could then put his title on the line against Punk at Saturday Night's Main Event (December 14) or the RAW premiere on Netflix (January 6, 2025).
As for his rivalry with Seth Rollins, it is expected to intensify in late 2024 - early 2025 and lead to a blockbuster match at WrestleMania 41 in April. WWE is expected to add the World Heavyweight Championship to the storyline to increase the hype. Thus, it would make sense to make Punk the champion and have The Visionary go after him.
