MVP is expected to part ways with WWE once his contract expires. The company removed him from the internal roster page, and he will reportedly leave soon.

The veteran wrestler never found the best storyline to work on, so leaving WWE might be the best option for him. His last appearance was on April 5, when he accompanied Omos for the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on SmackDown.

When Triple H took over the creative control of WWE, the veteran wrestler had an idea that would have helped him find the best storyline. This idea was to bring back The Hurt Business, which was a very successful faction at the time. It consisted of him, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and Cedric Alexander and lasted for two years (2020-2022).

MVP wanted the faction to get back together, but Triple H rejected the idea, while Shelton Benjamin was let go in September 2023.

The veteran wrestler once called out The Game on Instagram, saying he turned down the idea of The Hurt Business reunion.

"Triple H said no."

MVP reacts to WWE exit rumors

MVP was one of three superstars removed from WWE's internal roster. The other two were Bobby Lashley and Tamina Snuka.

Still, the veteran wrestler wasn't disappointed about how things played out. He took to Instagram and shared a video where he said:

“I am in the best of spirits. I love all of you. Don’t worry about me. I’m just fine."

It is unclear what is next for the 50-year-old and whether he will retire from wrestling or move to another promotion, where he could create another faction.

Maybe this promotion could be AEW, where he could possibly meet Benjamin and Lashley once the latter leaves WWE sometime in August when his contract with the company expires.
