After a six-month hiatus, The Rock came back to WWE following a surprise appearance during the final moments of Bad Blood in early October. The Final Boss stared down Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and a returning Jimmy Uso before leaving the stage.
Since then, there has been intense speculation on when the fans will see the WWE legend back on RAW and SmackDown and whether he would work any of the premium live events left in 2024 - namely Crown Jewel, Survivor Series: WarGames, Saturday Night's Main Event.
It seems, though, that The Rock has finally revealed that his return will happen in January 2025, and most likely, the first WWE RAW on Netflix on January 6, which is expected to be a blockbuster show.
"Hard to describe this reaction in the arenas when this moment takes flight. This connection with the crowd is quite a beautiful experience. I know it sounds crazy, but if you’re in the arena experiencing it - this stuff gets emotional... Start to walk out there and man, I’m covered in chills. Forever grateful. It's why I always keep my Teremana backstage... The Final Boss of WWE... 2025," The Rock wrote on his social media accounts.

Once back, The Final Boss is expected to reveal the path that he will follow heading into the Royal Rumble (February 1), and WrestleMania 41 (April 19-20), respectively.
The Rock is expected to work WrestleMania 41
There was some uncertainty recently whether The Rock would show up at WrestleMania 41 and whether his filming schedule would indeed allow him to compete in the ring as he did at WrestleMania 40 in April.
The Final Boss replied to a fan's comment on Instagram, though, and teased an appearance at WrestleMania 41. What will the WWE legend do there?
There was a scenario where he would go after Roman Reigns first before shifting his attention to the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. However, the fact that he stared down both The Original Tribal Chief and The American Nightmare shed more light on what the WWE Universe could expect to see at 'Mania.
Thus, the expectation is that Cody Rhodes will put his Undisputed WWE Championship on the line against both Roman Reigns and The Final Boss in a blockbuster Triple-Threat Match that would main event the show.
