However, during an interview with 2 Bears, 1 Cave, Cody Rhodes revealed that he likely won't be working with the company full-time after a few years, but definitely would want to be associated with the industry:

Cody Rhodes refuses to bury his former promotion
The American Nightmare made his debut in the industry in 2006. Since then, he has worked with various promotions, including AEW from 2019 to 2022. he returned to WWE in 2022 and started a rivalry with Roman Reigns.
During the same interview with 2 Bears, 1 Cave, Cody Rhodes spoke about crossing over and experiencing different mediums of entertainment. He clarified that he will not bury AEW, and hopes that others understand the power and magnitude of bringing more eyeballs to a product by crossing over:
"I'm not burying where I formerly was [AEW] but not understanding the power, the magnitude, again, of new eyeballs, and crossing over. But I also hate gatekeeping when it comes to what we do. That's one of the things I do really like about pro wrestling fans and sports entertainment, and I wish the locker rooms would feel this more. We welcome [new fans], so please, if you've never been before, [come to a show]."
Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens battled at Saturday Night's Main Event which Rhodes won, but The Prizefighter delivered a Package Piledriver on his opponent and the Undisputed WWE Champion was taken off WWE TV for a while.
