Roman Reigns' absence in WWE television is felt, and it's something that Solo Sikoa has utilized to take over The Bloodline. However, it seems like the former North American Champion's time as the group's leader will halt soon.
Roman Reigns lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40, ending his reign at 1,316 days. It didn't take long for Solo Sikoa to assume The Bloodline's leadership then made several changes with them like kicking out Paul Heyman and Jimmy Uso and then recruiting Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa. The new Tribal Chief has even continuously taken shots against his cousin. However, that may all change once SummerSlam arrives.
Recent reports from PWInsider state that Roman Reigns will return during WWE SummerSlam at the Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio on August 3, 2024. However, it won't necessarily mean he will wrestle at The Biggest Party of the Summer.
Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.
One major theory about when and how The Head of the Table will return is during Solo Sikoa vs Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship, whether during or after the title match.
With the continuous attacks from Solo to Roman and how the rivalry between Sikoa and Rhodes is being set up, it's more than likely that the former champion will make his presence felt during the title match.
What role could Roman Reigns play if he returns at WWE SummerSlam during Solo Sikoa vs Cody Rhodes?
Although The Head of the Table won't be in action for The Biggest Party of the Summer, a simple appearance could make a major impact on The Bloodline's current run and the group's dynamic.
On the Notsam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts shared that the former Undisputed WWE Champion could help The American Nightmare against the former North American Champion. However, the wrestling analyst would still prefer for the champion to retain on his own.
"If you put it like that, it does feel like, especially if they say if you've got no one left, Roman could help Cody, and that would be good. I still prefer Cody doing it on his own and Roman coming at the end, but it's not a bad thought. It's a good thought,"
It remains to be seen if Roman Reigns' return will be one of the surprises set for next week's WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event.
