WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H officially announced on Thursday the date and location for the Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 Premium Live Event. There was speculation about where the event would take place, but The Game provided the details for the PLE in November.

According to the official announcement, the Survivor Series: WarGames will take place at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, on Saturday, November 30, 2024. As WWE announced, this will be the first time that the city of Vancouver will host an edition of Survivor Series.

This announcement comes less than a month after the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event, which took place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on Saturday, July 6, 2024. It will be the sixth time that Canada will host two or more WWE Premium Live Events in the same year.

Additionally, the Stamford-based company will not return to its traditional format, but will instead maintain the WarGames format, with the respective matches in the men's and the women's categories to be announced in the future.

What happened at the WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2023 Premium Live Event?

Along with WrestleMania and SummerSlam, Survivor Series is considered one of the top premium live events, so WWE always has special plans for it. Fans usually see the top stars in action, while we have seen several superstars return at Survivor Series.

Last year's edition featured a Men's WarGames Match between The Judgment Day along with Drew McIntyre against Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, Cody Rhodes and a returning Randy Orton.

After the end of the match, which main evented the show, CM Punk made his triumphant return to WWE after nearly a decade.

Punk left WWE in 2014, but returned last year, signing a three-year deal with the Stamford-based company. His comeback brought a lot of excitement to fans, and the Second City Saint immediately started a feud with Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins.

The three superstars will feature in a match at SummerSlam this weekend, with McIntyre facing Punk and Rollins being the Special Guest Referee. Barring any injuries, the three stars are even expected to main event the Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 Premium Live Event.
