Where are these WWE Superstars now? - Edition 6

One of the best parts about professional wrestling is the variety of characters that have come through the various promotions over the years. Look no further than the WWE’s Royal Rumble pay-per-views on the company’s network, and you’ll see wrestlers that you may have forgotten about or lost track of.

This is the sixth in a series of features that seeks to let fans know where those wrestlers have turned up in the years since they left the pro wrestling spotlight. Hopefully, some of your questions will be answered with this one!

Spike Dudley

Spike Dudley was the wacky runt of the Dudley family in both ECW and WWE action.

Spike Dudley was the diminutive brother of Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley in both ECW and WWE action during the late 1990s and early 2000s. He even followed the Dudley Boyz to TNA, and over the course of his career, he won the ECW tag titles and four different belts in the WWE.

Spike, real name Matthew Hyson, was a third-grade teacher before his days in the ring. Since leaving wrestling a few years back, Hyson has been working as a financial planner in his home state of Rhode Island for MassMutal.

Prince Iaukea

Prince Iaukea was a mid-card performer for the WCW during the late 1990s.

Prince Iaukea never actually performed in the WWE, but he’s someone that fans of the WCW are likely to remember. He performed in that company from 1995 to 2000, when the company was at its hottest during the Monday Night War.

Even though Iaukea, real name Mike Hayner, was never really part of major storylines, he was a two-time cruiserweight champion and one-time television champion. Since leaving mainstream wrestling, the Hawaiian superstar worked the independent circuit and even started 3SX Pro Wrestling, which performs in American Samoa and New Zealand.

Mideon

Mideon was a part of the Undertaker’s Ministry of Darkness during the WWE’s Attitude Era.

The Ministry of Darkness was quite the collection of creepy superstars that supported the Undertaker during the early days of the WWE’s Attitude Era. Among them was Mideon, who was brought into the stable by the Acolytes, Bradshaw and Faarooq.

Already a two-time tag team champion as a member of the Godwinns, Mideon literally picked up the European Championship once when he found it in Shane McMahon’s gym bag. Since his wrestling days came to an end in 2006, Mideon – real name Dennis Knight – has been working as a chef in Florida.
