It has been almost two months since Bobby Lashley last appeared in WWE. Back on May 9th, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis announced that the former champion would be unable to compete at the King of the Ring qualifiers due to injury.

Aldis didn't specify what kind of injury Lashley had been dealing with, but he only revealed that the veteran wrestler got injured while training. Since then, Bobby has been out and WWE has provided no updates on how long the injury will keep him out.

It is worth mentioning, though, that the company was reportedly well aware of the former champion's injury, which didn't come as a surprise to anyone in WWE.

"Yeah, they knew he was injured as of Monday, so him being removed isn’t necessarily a big surprise within the company," Sean Ross Sap of Fightful Select said, via PWMania.

Lashley last competed in WWE on May 6, when he defeated Santos Escobar during a WWE Live Event.

Bobby Lashley takes to social media to share message amid injury recovery

Bobby Lashley has been recovering from the injury he sustained, and despite his absence from WWE, he remains active on social media. Recently, he took to Instagram and shared a message.

"It’s never been about winning or losing. It’s about living your life unafraid to do either," he posted on an IG story.

It is unclear what Lashley meant with this message, but it could be related to his absence from WWE.

Prior to his injury, Bobby had created a faction with The Street Profits and was in the middle of a feud with Karrion Kross and The AOP. It remains to be seen who the veteran wrestler will target once he is back.

Since coming back to WWE in 2018, Lashley has become a world champion twice, while he has also won the Intercontinental and United States Championships.
