The wrestling world was recently hit with the unfortunate news of Sika Anoa'i's passing at the age of 79. Despite the major loss, Sika's son, Roman Reigns, decided to put a smile on other people's faces.

Fans have not seen Roman Reigns on WWE television since he lost to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40. However, many have seen him spending time with his family. The Tribal Chief was also spotted filming for a movie. However, the most recent update regarding Reigns is much more unfortunate: the passing of his father and Hall of Famer Sika Anoa'i, one-half of The Wild Samoans. Still, The Head of the Table decided to brighten the day of other people.

Days after Sika's passing, which was on June 25, 2024, Roman Reigns was seen visiting his fans at the Joe DiMaggio Children's Center. Those present even stated that the WWE Superstar was an "amazing person."

This wasn't the first time The Head of the Table visited the hospital and was involved with their patients. Just earlier this month, it was shared that Roman surprised a patient, Emma, with VIP suite tickets and a private meet and greet with Bad Bunny during his concert in Miami. It was said that Reigns remembered how Emma admired the singer when he visited the Child Life Zone during the holidays.

Will Roman Reigns' WWE return be delayed after his father's passing?

Overcoming the loss of a parent or a loved one is never easy. Due to this, Bill Apter believes The Tribal Chief's return to television might be affected.

On a previous episode of Sportskeeda's UnSKRripted, the legendary journalist stated that if Roman Reigns' return was set for this week or the next, he might not appear. However, if it will be on a later date, it won't be a problem. He also noted that Roman and his father were close.

"If it was going to be this week or the following week, possibly. Other than that I don't think it will. [...] It's hard to really put your finger on it because we don't know what his psychological state will be, whether he is ready to come back to wrestling. He and his dad were super super close."

Despite playing a bad guy on television, The Head of the Table is an opposite personality in real life. It remains to be seen when fans will see Roman Reigns again.
