Tonight's WWE SmackDown will be the final stop before the long-awaited SummerSlam Premium Live Event this weekend. Despite being a precursor to the PLE, fans can still expect a lot of action before The Biggest Party of the Summer.

The August 2, 2024, episode of WWE SmackDown will take place at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio. It has a capacity of up to 19,400 and is the home of the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers and the AHL's Cleveland Monsters.

Several shows from RAW, SmackDown, Main Event, and more have taken place in tonight's arena over the years. It was also the location of the 1996 SummerSlam, 1999 No Mercy, 2004 Survivor Series, 2014 TLC, 2016 Fastlane, and more Premium Live Events. The last WWE show held at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse was on the December 14, 2023, episode of Main Event.

Where to get tickets for tonight's WWE SmackDown?

Fans who want to watch the action live can purchase tickets through Ticketmaster. A single ticket ranges from $60 to $489 while two tickets are $53 to $815.


What to expect for the final SmackDown before WWE SummerSlam 2024?

As of this writing, two championship matches are set for the upcoming Friday Night SmackDown episode. It will also feature some of the stars who will compete this weekend at SummerSlam.

The women's and men's tag team divisions will both put their titles on the line tonight. Women's Tag Team Champions Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn will defend the titles against former champions Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair. It will be interesting to see if The Unholy Union will continue holding the gold.

Last week on WWE SmackDown, The Bloodline defeated The O.C., Pretty Deadly, Street Profits, and Legado Del Fantasma to become the number one contenders for DIY's Tag Team Championship. It will be interesting to see if Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga will be able to secure a win against Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa ahead of SummerSlam.

Cleveland's very own Logan Paul will be in front of his hometown crowd tonight before facing LA Knight tomorrow for the United States Championship. On the other hand, Undisputed WWE Championship Cody Rhodes will face off with Solo Sikoa before their title match at The Biggest Party of the Summer this weekend.
