What to expect for the upcoming Friday Night SmackDown?

As of this writing, two matches are advertised for the upcoming episode along with a segment from the Undisputed Champion, and a long-awaited return.

Nia Jax and Michin battled in a Street Fight last week on WWE SmackDown. Tiffany Stratton later emerged and acted as if she would cash in the Money in the Bank contract to distract Michin, but Bayley foiled Nia and Tiffy's plans. This week, The Role Model and Ms. Money in the Bank will battle in a singles match.

The Bloodline retained the Tag Team Championship last week from The Street Profits and the latter duo received a post-match beatdown. #DIY attempted to save Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins, but the faction got the upper hand. Tonight, Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano will team up with The Street Profits against Solo Sikoa's group in an eight-man tag team match.

Speaking of Solo Sikoa, his future will also be determined tonight. Before Bash in Berlin, Sikoa challenged the winner of the Undisputed Championship match between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens. For the upcoming WWE SmackDown episode, The American Nightmare is set to address Solo's challenge for the gold.

A couple of returns are expected tonight as well. The first is from Randy Orton, who failed to dethrone Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at Bash in Berlin. Fans will also see Giovanni Vinci tonight after last seeing him in April this year following Imperium's betrayal on RAW.
