Which WWE Superstar is Dakota Kai dating?

Dakota Kai recently returned to WWE RAW following a knee injury that sidelined her for three months. She targeted Sonya Deville and Pure Fusion Collective, seeking revenge.

Kai is considered one of the top female wrestlers in WWE and has done a great job as part of Damage CTRL, both as a heel and currently as a face. Still, she hasn't won a major title since moving to the main roster.

Little was known about her personal life outside the ring, but it appears that she is currently in a relationship with NXT star Eddy Thorpe. Back in the summer, the 34-year-old superstar celebrated his birthday with Dakota Kai and posted a few photos on his Instagram account, publicly revealing their relationship.

Eddy Thorpe spent seven years with New Japan Pro-Wrestling (2015-2022) before moving to WWE in February 2023. He has yet to claim any major title on NXT, while he will take on NXT Tag Team Champion Frazer for a spot in the Iron Survivor Match at Deadline.

Dakota Kai has sights set on becoming Women's Tag Team Champion

Dakota Kai spent three months out following a knee surgery in August. She has fully recovered and re-joined Damage CTRL, aiming to bring the faction back to the top.

In an interview with Digital Exclusive on RAW after her return, Dakota Kai clarified that she had her sights set on becoming Women's Tag Team Champion alongside Kairi Sane.

"It was so difficult watching from home, you guys held it down for sure, but we’re here to show everyone Damage CTRL, we won our match tonight — Now, we have our eyes on gold, potentially those tag team titles, right?" Dakota said. [H/T eWrestlingNews.com]

To do so, they will need to dethrone the current champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, who are in the middle of a feud with the reigning Women's World Champion Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.

IYO SKY has become the No.1 contender to Morgan's Women's World Championship, and she will have the chance to dethrone her either on a RAW episode after Survivor Series: WarGames or the next PLE, Saturday Night's Main Event (December 14).
