#2 Kevin Owens

To say that Kevin Owens is one of the most natural heels in the WWE won't be an overstatement. Considering this, it is a testimony to the mic skills and character work of Kevin Owens that when he made his comeback right before WWE Fastlane as a babyface to replace Kofi Kingston for a title match against Daniel Bryan, he was well-received by the WWE Universe. His exploits during The Kevin Owens Show further cemented his place as a babyface and it was perceived that 'The Prize Fighter' would remain in the same mold for a lengthy period.
However, Daniel Bryan and Big E's recent injuries have certainly led to changes in plans on SmackDown Live. After the segments wherein we saw Kevin Owens winning the trust of The New Day members, the WWE Champion, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, we saw Owens being introduced as the temporary third member of The New Day who could replace Big E for the time being. However, within a couple of weeks, Owens made his intentions crystal clear as he attacked the WWE Champion along with Xavier Woods.
Considering the popularity of Kofi Kingston since WrestleMania 35, anyone who goes head to head against him is bound to face immense heat from the fans. Kevin Owens thrives in such situations and is the perfect foil for a lovable babyface like Kofi Kingston.
