#4 Finn Balor
Elias turned face this week on RAW. It was unexpected, yet was embraced by the fans. But, the question is: Why did Elias turn face? He is a big star, but not big enough to step in the shoes of Roman Reigns. One possible reasons is to make Elias the mid carder face which role has been fulfilled by Balor as of late. With Elias filling his place, Balor can certainly move up to the Main Event scene, where he belongs.
It doesn’t matter who wins the Universal Title at Crown Jewel, because both Strowman and Brock Lesnar can work as excellent heels. We can have Finn enter the Rumble and being eliminated early, only to re-enter at number 30 as ‘The Demon King’. He can then go on to win the Rumble match, fixing his match with the Universal Champion in the main event of the ‘Show of Shows’. Both Braun/Balor and Brock/Balor have that underdog v/s monster feel.
Balor’s Demon King Entrance will be enough to get the crowd going for the match. The Demon has been undefeated on the main roster and it’ll be a joyous moment to see Balor reclaiming his title. It’s time that Vince McMahon realizes that the first ever Universal champion just requires proper booking and opportunity to be over with the crowd.
