WWE continues to make changes to its roster, and this time, it appears the company has signed Delta, an Australian female wrestler. The young star, who had tryouts with the company during the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event back in February, has agreed to a deal.
Delta, who made her wrestling debut in December 2020, was impressive in her tryouts, and the company offered her a contract soon after. She is expected to move to the United States soon, but it is unclear when her debut will take place.
Per a report by Ringside News, the company allowed Delta to stay in Australia and compete in her remaining matches on the independent circuit, and she is now ready for her debut.
The Aussie wrestler is not expected to become part of the main roster soon. Instead, she will join new signings Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer on NXT and will soon appear at the Performance Center.
What additions has WWE made to the Women's Division lately?
Delta is not the only female star that has moved to WWE lately. As the company continues to make roster changes, it has also signed international stars Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer.
Both female stars had impressive stints in other wrestling promotions, and their performance and wrestling skills attracted the interest of WWE, bolstering the Women's Division, which has a plethora of talent and potential on NXT and the main roster.
It is unclear what plans the creative team has for the three new signings, but fans have already been excited about their additions.
As for Delta, she has been compared to former Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley, who got a standing ovation during her title match against Nia Jax at Elimination Chamber in Perth, Australia. Delta is expected to make her debut in the coming weeks.
