Hulk Hogan is an American professional wrestler, often considered to be one of the greatest. He was born on August 11, 1953, in Augusta, Georgia, USA and his real name is Terry Gene Bollea. He began his wrestling career in 1977 and joined the World Wrestling Federation in 1979. Two years later, he accepted to feature in the movie Rocky III, which caused a fallout with Vincent McMahon Sr, and Hogan’s departure from WWE. However, his son Vince McMahon brought Hogan back to WWF in 1983 and made him the face of WWE’s nationwide and international expansion.

Hogan won the WWE Championship in 1984 and held it for 1474 days, which is the longest reign in the last forty years in WWE, as of date. He was the first wrestler to win the Royal Rumble twice and had headlined WrestleMania eight times in the first nine events. He joined WCW in 1994, where Hogan created the nWO. Hogan is a two-time WWE Hall of Famer, six-time WWE World Champion, 6-time WCW World Champion, and one of the most common names on the Mount Rushmore of wrestling by fans and journalists alike.
