AEW President and CEO Tony Khan announced Carlos Cabrera's addition during Wednesday's Dynamite. The 64-year-old, who was a member of WWE's Spanish announce team for decades, will now join Taz, Excalibur, and Tony Schiavone's commentary team. He will also be working with Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide.

Born in Bogota, Colombia, on October 18, 1959, Cabrera started as a news presenter in his home country before joining WWE (then WWF) in 1993. He became the Spanish announcer on the Spanish language versions of RAW, SmackDown, NXT, and Premium Live Events.

He also had a show on the official website of WWE, named 'WWE En Español,' and was one of the main figures of the company's commentary team. He maintained his position through February 2022, when he parted ways with WWE. He was a part of the Spanish commentary team from WrestleMania 10 to WrestleMania 37.

Since 2022, he has been part of Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide and is now working with AEW.
