Ludwig Kaiser isn't booked for WWE Bash in Berlin, but he can be expected at the premium live event. He may be present ringside during Gunther's World Heavyweight Championship match against Randy Orton.
WWE Bash in Berlin is definitely special for the Imperium member. His home country is Germany and this is the first time WWE is organizing a premium live event there. Furthermore, Kaiser's father, Axel Dieter, was born and started amateur wreslting in Berlin in a wrestling club known as "Heros."
Dieter started wrestling internationally in 1958 when he wrestled in Spain, France, Great Britain, and Austria. His wrestling resume includes feuds with names such as Mario Milano, and he was even bestowed with the title of 'Germany Prince of Globetrotters' in 1963 by the 'Wrestler' magazine.
During the Second World War, Ludwig Kaiser's father became Germany's most decorated wrestler and battled names such as Bret Hart, Dick Beyer the Destroyer, Hercules Ayala, and Dynamite Kid, among others.
Axel Dieter retired in 1987 but did return to the ring in 1997 to take on Pat Roach in a "Match of the Legends." He passed away at the age of 81 in September 2015 after battling a long illness.
Ludwig Kaiser has become an impactful superstar in WWE
Even though it seems that Kaiser has been living in Gunther's shadow, he has progressed massively by himself as well.
In fact, during the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Kaiser returned to the blue show to answer LA Knight's open challenge for the United States Championship. The Berlin crowd rallied behind the Imperium member and chanted his name throughout the match.
Even though Knight retained the championship, Ludwig Kaiser got his moment in Berlin, in front of his home crowd. This was important since it helped the WWE Universe understand the type of impact he is capable of making on the main roster.
