MCMG is widely regarded as one of the best tag teams of this generation. They have been competing for decades and earning titles and awards all around the globe, in various independent wrestling circuits. Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin joined forces as a tag team in the early 2000s. In 2007, they ended up getting signed by TNA. During their impressive stint with Total Nonstop Action, they managed to capture the tag team championships multiple times.
Other than TNA, Sabin and Shelley have been IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions, ROH Tag Team Champions, Strong Openweight Tag Team Champions, and many more. In other words, while MCMG are new faces in the Stamford-based promotion, outside of the promotion, they have already had a 'Hall of Fame' career.
