Netflix's filming for the docuseries began before WWE's former employee Janel Grant filed the lawsuit against Vince McMahon. It's unknown exactly how much the lawsuit changed the final cut, but the docuseries does refer to the recent allegations in its finale.
The former WWE Chairman took to social media to let the audience know that some parts of the docuseries had been misinterpreted to leave the viewers confused. He claims that editing tricks were used to convey a deceptive narrative.
Nevertheless, he urged viewers to keep an open mind when watching the docuseries and further clarified that he does not regret being a part of it.
