Who Will Join the Undisputed Era Next?

The Undisputed Era Win Big At Takeover
The Undisputed Era Win Big At Takeover

Great factions grow...or they die.

At NXT TakeOver: New Orleans we saw a miracle happen for the Undisputed Era. As Adam Cole had been sidelined due to the damage in earning his North American Championship, all seemed lost for Kyle O'Reilly until Roderick Strong turned on Pete Dune! In the most shocking moment of WrestleMania weekend, the Undisputed Era retained their tag team titles and gained a great new member.

There are few stables that have stood the test of time without evolving. With that in mind, I wanted to go down the list of contenders to join the Undisputed Era from people that we know are currently in NXT or training in Orlando.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

#1 Tommaso Ciampa

He was on the verge of a great Heel turn before his injury and this could be a great way to jump-start his return. As a former Indie favorite, he naturally fits along with the rest of the Undisputed Era. He has a pretty dark sense of humor and isn't afraid to tell you how great he thinks he is.

His performance against Johny Gargano at TakeOver was one of the most emotionally charged fights of the weekend. If Johnny Gargano stays in NXT this would add a lot to a storyline between Gargano and the Era.

#2 Buddy Murphy

<p>

Formerly of Blake and Murphy, Buddy Murphy was fast-tracked to the NXT tag team title and did really well with his fiance (Alexa Bliss) leading the pair, but since her call up and the team's dissolution, he has floated around with nothing going on.

His performances on 205 Live have been some of the best of his career, and his presence there would help bring the Undisputed Era onto another show that is filled with people they can pick on.

He's a solid performer and isn't afraid to be humbled for a match, but putting him in the team honestly would be more of a favor to him than anything else.

#3 Lars Sullivan

He has no character as of yet and the promo he just cut to call out Killian Daine was lackluster at best. He doesn't sound as scary as he looks, and a speedo might not be the ideal ring attire for the giant.

Put a pair of pants on the guy and give him and Undisputed Era t-shirt, let him stand behind Adam Cole and learn how to cut a promo from one of the best heels in the game. I think that this pairing would benefit him and the group very well as the develop a monster.

Picture him standing behind the group fuming while Adam Cole has a smirk on his face. The heaviest member of the Undisputed Era right now is Adam Cole at a staggering 210 lbs. (Yeah, if he lost 5 pounds the Undisputed Era would all qualify for 205 Live) Lars Sullivan weighs in at about 303 and would bring some... weight to the group. But really, he is a big guy and seems entertaining in the ring, but fans don't want to watch him squash his way to the NXT title already.

#4 Bianca Belair

Bianca Belair is the EST... or well she's trying to make that stick as a gimmick. The Bullet Club has been talking about bringing in their first female, and the Undisputed Era has teased doing it for some time. Though Bianca wouldn't be people's first guess, she has the arrogance and confidence that the Undisputed Era embodies.

She seems like she plays dirty and having them in her corner would allow her to get away with some of the dirtiEST moves in the book. Bianca could learn a lot from these indie veterans and in turn bring some much-needed diversity to one of these groups, a trait that is only found in Titus Worldwide.

#5 Ethan Carter 3rd (EC3)

Few people have the mic skills to go one on one with Adam Cole, but EC3 definitely holds that honor. One of the most exciting people to sign with WWE this year, he's definitely in the top 1%.

He has a different build than the rest of the group but has a swagger that the audience enjoys. If they really wanted to take over NXT, this a key player to get in your group.

He proved himself in Impact Wrestling much as Adam Cole did in Ring of Honor, which opens the group up to members transitioning from Impact.

#6 Ricochet

Ricochet making his Debut as Adam Cole asks, "Why did you do that?"

This would be another member that the audience would never see coming. Right now he is being booked as a golden boy, and they are trying to make him as much of a babyface as possible. At times its almost comical, to the point where he did a backflip after entering the ring and Adam Cole says, "Why did you do that!?"

He's shown everyone that he is an incredible wrestler, but his most important class while training in NXT is promos and character development, so joining up with the Undisputed Era would be a great way to allow him a cool confidence, while keeping him with people that will hone his mic skills and cover his little flaws.
