The Lucha Brothers have reportedly joined WWE and are set to move to the main roster right away. It is unclear if they will become part of the RAW or SmackDown roster, but they are an upgrade for the tag team Division.
Although Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix's wrestling debut dates back to 2007, their debut in independent promotions took place in 2015. After three years, they moved to Impact Wrestling, where they stayed for one year (2018 - 2019).
The Lucha Brothers emerged as one of the top teams in the wrestling industry during their five-year stint in AEW from 2019-2024. After their deals with All Elite Wrestling reportedly expired, the Mexican luchador wrestlers became free agents and have now seemingly agreed to a multi-year deal with WWE.
They have held several tag team titles together, including the World Tag Team Championships in AEW, Impact World Tag Team Championship, and ROH World Tag Team Championship.

Wrestling legend praises the Lucha Brothers amid WWE signing rumors
The Lucha Brothers are considered one of the best tag teams in the wrestling world, and their reported signing is great news for WWE fans.
As they prepare for their debut on the main roster, wrestling legend Konnan praised the duo's in-ring ability on an episode of the Keepin' It 100 podcast.
"When you look at them wrestle, they always try to steal the show, they're super over, Fenix is always injured for doing dumb s**t to try to make everybody happy. If AEW would have done more with them, they'd still be there, OK? And learn to take [losses], it's part of the business," Konnan said.
With that in mind, it remains to be seen what their first storyline will be. A likely scenario is a partnership with LWO against The Judgment Day on Monday Night RAW.
