WWE continues to add to its roster, and the latest names to be linked with the Stamford-based promotion are the Tonga Twins. Taahine and TalaVou were recently spotted at the Performance Center, leading to talk that the free agents could be joining the WWE soon.

The Tonga Twins consist of twin sisters, Kaoz and Kona. They were born to immigrant parents and are second-generation Tongans from Vallejo, California. They have joint social media accounts, including on Instagram @tongatwinz, where they post shared pictures of one another, ranging from their in-ring careers to their personal lives.

They made their professional wrestling debut in 2021 after being trained by Rikishi. They initially appeared in AEW before moving to Women of Wrestling (WOW). In June 2023, they defeated Miami's Sweet Heat (Laurie Carlson and Lindsey Carlson) to win the WOW Tag Team Championship.

WWE could be set for further additions to its women's roster after recently picking up Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer. Chief Content Officer Triple H is making moves to help shape the company's future.

The Tonga Twins were at the Performance Center on July 17, and Taahine posted a picture of their appearance on X.

She captioned it:

"On island time. HEEEHOO!!"

The pair have continued to tease fans by reposting WWE content on their joint X account. Some of these include promotion for WWE SummerSlam and a fan pining for them to arrive in NXT.

Fans will undoubtedly be excited to track their every move if they are indeed headed towards the Stamford-based promotion. They could make another exciting addition to an already stacked NXT women's roster.

The Tonga Twins announced their departure from WOW amid allegations of bullying and misconduct against fellow wrestlers within the company. They gave a scathing assessment of WOW on social media while leaving.

Where would the Tonga Twins fit in in WWE?

Although the twin sisters are seemingly excited for SummerSlam, they seem unlikely to debut at the premium live event. They are still relatively new to the pro wrestling business and are more likely to debut in WWE NXT.

Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels has done an excellent job with the women's roster in NXT. Roxanne Perez, Sol Ruca, Fallon Henley, and Kelani Jordon have been wowing fans on Tuesday nights.

Former World Wonder Ring Stardom megastar Giulia and former CMLL World Women's Champion Stephanie Vaquer are joining the developmental brand. The women's roster is arguably the strongest of all three brands.

The Tonga Twins would be a neat fit in NXT, as they still have room to grow. They could enter the tag team division and wreak havoc on Tuesday nights.
