What's the story?
A lot of fans have been wondering about the identity of the enigmatic violinist that led Shinsuke Nakamura to the ring during his epic SmackDown LIVE debut. Well, we’ve got your answers, right here at Sportskeeda!
Here’s a video of the entrance in question:
In case you didn't know:
The entrance theme music that you hear when Shinsuke Nakamura comes to the ring, is a song called “The Rising Sun,” which was written by CFO$. Nakamura has used this entrance music ever since he signed with the WWE.
It’s also worth noting that this is not the first time England has escorted Nakamura to the ring. His first time doing so was at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II, when he performed the very same entrance for Nakamura as he faced Samoa Joe at The Barclays Center.
The heart of the matter:
The gentleman you watched play the violin while Shinsuke Nakamura made his main roster SD and SummerSlam debut tonight on SmackDown LIVE, is a musician named Lee England Jr.
England is a 33-year-old violinist, originally from Illinois, and is now residing in Los Angeles. Lee gained a tonne of attention following his 2009 audition for MTV’s hit show “Making His Band.” Since appearing on the show, England has made appearances all over the map, including Jimmy Kimmel, as well as The Mo’Nique Show.

Not only that, but Lee has made on-stage appearances with the likes of Elton John, Ludacris, Stevie Wonder, Babyface, and Akon.
What's next?
England's performances have captivated the WWE Universe. It would not be much of a surprise to see him performing for Nakamura again in the near future.
Author’s take:
The Superstar entrance has grown over the years, into more of an elaborate production, which has become a memorable part of the WWE Live experience. Lee England Jr. is a very unique, yet incredibly talented young man who will undoubtedly be welcomed back in the future by the WWE.
I personally saw Lee at a comedy show a while back. Little did I know where I would be seeing him next. He is an incredible performer, who certainly added to the excitement of Nakamura's SmackDown debut.
