Wade Barrett and Joe Tessitore will not be part of the RAW commentary team when the red brand moves to Netflix next Monday, January 6. As the former champion announced on his social media accounts, Michael Cole and Pat McAfee will replace him and Tessitore on the red brand from next week onwards.
Michael Cole and Pat McAfee were part of the RAW commentary team, but the former temporarily moved to SmackDown, and the latter took time off WWE to focus on his other commitments.
Now, they will reunite in the RAW commentary team. It is unclear whether Barrett and Tessitore will move to SmackDown to join Corey Graves, who remained the sole commentator after Michael Cole's departure.
"Thank you WWE RAW on USA Network, it’s been a pleasure! Can’t wait to see what’s in store next week on the Netflix debut. Michael Cole & Pat McAfee, you’re up, Joe Tessitore & I will see you on the Raw debut post-show," Wade Barrett posted on his account on X.

Joe Tessitore praises Wade Barrett after RAW exit
Wade Barrett confirmed that he will not be part of the RAW commentary team going forward, even though he and Joe Tessitore will stay on the Red brand as the hosts of the post-show.
Joe took to his social media and praised the former champion for their partnership over the past nearly four months.
"What a fun ride to be by your side! You're THE best my friend!" he wrote.
Many expect Wade and Joe to move to SmackDown to join Corey Graves. However, WWE has not officially announced the changes to its commentary team. Wade Barrett could also return to the ring to work on a storyline with his good friend Drew McIntyre. The two teased a fight amid Drew's rivalry with CM Punk a few months ago.
Still, neither Barrett nor WWE have hinted toward a comeback, even though this could change, especially with RAW's move to Netflix. McIntyre currently has a feud with The OG Bloodline.
