Former multiple-time World Champion Batista is the only wrestler to win the Royal Rumble two times from the same spot, based on Smarkoutmoment.com. The Animal was the 28th participant in Royal Rumble 2005 and 2014, going on to win both times.

According to Sportster, Batista entered the 2005 Royal Rumble as one of the favorites. The match finished controversially when Batista and John Cena accidentally went over the top rope simultaneously. As a result, the match was restarted, with Batista winning. He was in the match for 10 minutes and 54 seconds and eliminated six participants - Christian, John Cena, Gene Snitsky, Chris Benoit, Edge, and Chris Jericho. He later main-evented WrestleMania 21, beating his former Evolution teammate and the 2025 Hall of Fame inductee, Triple H to clinch the World Heavyweight Title.

Batista was a competitor in the Royal Rumble 2014 and won the match for the second time in his career by finally eliminating Roman Reigns. He spent 14 minutes and 34 seconds in the ring and made three other eliminations - Erick Rowan, Alberto Del Rio, and Ryback.

Based on Sportster, the number 30 entrant is the only entrance number that won the Royal Rumble that won back-to-back Royal Rumble events in WWE history in 2007 (The Undertaker) and 2008 (John Cena), and then again in 2022 (Brock Lesnar) and 2023 (Cody Rhodes).
