Why Big Cass and The Miz should team up on Smackdown Live

Y
Cass made a huge statement on Smackdown Live

With the Superstar Shakeup in the books and the dust settling, Smackdown Live has been rejuvenated with new talent, and two superstars, in particular, can really shine if WWE decides to pair them up. Those two are The Miz and the returning Big Cass.

Lots of fans have commented on how the new pairing on RAW between Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre can be the new Shawn Michaels and Diesel. However, I feel that The Miz and Cass are a better example of that. Since The Miz is no longer with Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel, he may want to have a new superstar do his dirty work for him, and who better to do that than a 7-foot tall monster like Cass? The Miz is a legitimate superstar and can rub off on Cass, who is lacking the promo skills to take him to the next level, which is The Miz's biggest strength.

While Cass isn't an in-ring master, he isn't horrible either. His biggest weakness is his promos skills, which as I mentioned, is The Miz's biggest strength, so he won't have to do much talking if any at all. Just have The Miz do the talking and Cass beat down any rivals that try to get in The Miz's way. It even makes sense right now storyline wise, as last night on Smackdown, Big Cass returned backstage while Daniel Bryan was being interviewed and called him a "little man", and then attacked him later in the night during the main event tag team match.

While The Miz has improved so much and doesn't really need a body to protect him, he did help Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel, as he got them on WWE programming week in and week out. Having a bodyguard would fit The Miz's character, however, and Cass would be the perfect person to fill that role. Let's see if WWE pulls the trigger on it.
