Why Braun Strowman will become WWE Universal Champion at Royal Rumble 2019

After multiple failed attempts to get his hands on the WWE Universal Championship, Braun Strowman gets another chance to slay 'The Beast' Brock Lesnar at WWE Royal Rumble 2019.

Braun Strowman has been presented as an unstoppable force by WWE since his debut, but against Brock Lesnar, The Monster has been unsuccessful.

Braun Strowman is one of the top guys on WWE Raw, as he is one of the most over WWE Superstars, and the fans welcome him with a huge pop each time he enters the arena.

At Royal Rumble 2019, Braun gets another chance to settle his scores with Brock Lesnar. In the past Brock has defeated Braun multiple times, but this time the result might change, as Braun Strowman is expected to beat Brock Lesnar to become champion.

A Braun Strowman win - will this happen at Royal Rumble 2019?

After Roman Reigns relinquished the WWE Universal title, WWE put the title back on Brock Lesnar in order to ensure that their top prize is held by a big-time player.

This was despite Brock Lesnar being a part-timer, only showing up once or twice in a few months, and this is one reason for the low ratings this year, as they push part-timers over full-time wrestlers.

To have better ratings in 2019, the McMahon family promised the WWE Universe they would give the fans what they want, and it's no secret the WWE Universe wants a full-time wrestler to hold the top title of Raw.

Keeping WWE's current agenda in mind, it seems a big possibility creative might allow Braun Strowman finally beat Brock Lesnar, and bring back the championship on a full time basis.
