In the main event of the recently concluded Premium Live Event, NXT Halloween Havoc, Trick Williams defeated Ethan Page to successfully retain his NXT Championship. However, what followed was pure chaos.
After the match, Ridge Holland came out and attacked Trick Williams. As Holland and Page continued their assault, wrestling legend Bubba Ray Dudley made a surprise appearance, rushing to the ring and taking out Holland and Page to clear the ring. Fans have since been speculating about this shocking end to the show and what it might mean for the future.
This wasn't Bubba Ray's only appearance during the show. Earlier, he had a confrontation with Ridge Holland after the latter's Ambulance match against Andre Chase. All signs point to this building up to a tag team match for the November 6 episode of NXT.
WWE has announced that the show will take place at the iconic ECW Arena, making it fitting for an ECW legend like Bubba Ray Dudley to be involved. He could team up with Trick Williams to face Ridge Holland and Ethan Page.

Shawn Michaels excited for NXT's upcoming show at the ECW Arena
The November 6 episode of NXT is set to take place at the 2300 Arena, famously known as the ECW Arena, in Philadelphia.
During a recent appearance on the Busted Open Radio podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels shared his thoughts on the show booking the historic venue.
Michaels noted that WWE has always tried to capture the spirit of what ECW accomplished in the past. He added that the black and silver brand embodies that same energy of going out there and "letting it fly," which is why bringing the show to the ECW Arena felt like a perfect fit.
"There's always been, I think, in the eyes of the WWE, and certainly in my eyes, how can we do that [ECW] again, and at least do our best to come close to capturing that moment. And there are times, as you know, we tried with the WWE, and it was very, very good. But I think it has to be...it has to mimic something similar to what you all were doing. A bunch of young guys, again, just going out there and letting it fly. And I think 'NXT' kind of encapsulates all of that," Michaels said. [H/T Wrestlinginc.com]
It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for the massive show.
