If said rumours of Ronda Rousey's departure are true then a singles match between Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey may get too predictable especially considering the caveat that Rousey hasn't been pinned or submitted in the competition. It'd become the perfect mountain for a supernova babyface like Lynch to conquer, creating an iconic Wrestlemania moment like no other.

The addition of Charlotte Flair adds the perfect wrinkle to this. WWE's wise to how they can play fans, especially in terms of the divide between fan expectations and management favouritism. To anyone, someone like Charlotte Flair represents the unwanted prima donna of the women's division. If a triple threat is going to get set (you can hedge your bets on it) then Charlotte's inclusion acts as a big red herring. Many will obviously feel that she could just as easily walk away with another accolade on her belt.

Last years match against Asuka seemed like a foregone conclusion, with the Japanese star picking another win to elevate her legacy and streak. Yet Flair became the first woman to shock the world and the former Kana by picking her scalp clean. It enhanced any prior notions that Flair could take a backseat for WWE.

Her inclusion gives this match an unpredictable flair and even bigger struggle for Becky Lynch to fight through, besides the rookie champion Ronda Rousey. A three away now leaves the door open for a continued high stakes rivalry between Rousey and Lynch, if Charlotte were to take the fall as well.

The permutations and combinations with this end result are intriguing, far more than that of a straight up one on one bout.
