Why did CM Punk challenge Drew McIntyre in a Strap Match at WWE Bash in Berlin? Real reason revealed

CM Punk and Drew McIntyre will be competing in a 'Strap Match' at Bash in Berlin to settle their feud. The last time they wrestled, The Scottish Warrior defeated the Second City Saint at SummerSlam 2024.

This time, Punk seems to be confident about having his head in the game. During Bash in Berlin's kickoff event, Michael Cole asked The Voice of the Voiceless about the SummerSlam loss. To this, he responded by saying that he let his temper and emotions get the best of him, and was distracted by Seth Rollins as well.

However, at the PLE in Germany, Punk will not have to worry about being distracted. His head is in the game and he is more focused than ever. His objective for using the 'Strap Match' stipulation is to hurt The Scottish Warrior at the premium live event.

"I will be more focused, I promise you that, because the name of the game is 'hurt Drew McIntyre', and that's exactly what I plan on doing."

Apart from brutally assaulting The Scottish Warrior, CM Punk wants to take back the bracelet that McIntyre stole from him. It has the Second City Saint's wife, AJ Lee, and their dog, Larry's, name on it.
