Why Daniel Bryan should become the World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania

Daniel Bryan, one half of the Tag Team Champions now, has been a very important star in the roster ever since his debut in 2009. Right from the start of his career, Daniel Bryan has proven how valuable a wrestler he is for the company. Along with Kane, Bryan has done a great deal in helping bring to life the Tag Team Championship. Now that we are close to seeing Team Hell No break up, we are again going to see Bryan back as a singles competitor.

Bryan has always been championship material wherever he wrestled. Starting from ROH in 2005, Bryan won several titles there and was considered one of the most popular wrestlers. The fact that he is a submission expert made it easy for him to give the fans spectacular matches with any wrestler. His American Dragon persona went over well with the crowd, giving him a lot of fan following.

In WWE, Bryan held the United States Championship in 2010 and then went on to become the World Heavyweight Champion after cashing in his MITB briefcase in 2011. He also defended his title successfully on several occasions and put on an excellent match every single time. After WrestleMania 28, Bryan was given the Tag Team Title, indicating that the WWE is in no way reluctant to give Bryan a title that he deserves.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

Speaking of his wrestling skills, Bryan has done extremely well in most of his top draw matches. Speaking of the best, his matches against CM Punk in Over The Limit and MITB were without a doubt top class and his match against Sheamus in Extreme Rules gave him his best match till date. Bryan, with his excellent technical and submission skills, somewhat resembles Kurt Angle, who had a similar talent. Not only is he good inside the ring, he is also able to take up any role provided to him by the company. He is able to sell well as a heel and is also able to entertain us with his comical roles.

The No.1 Contender Elimination Chamber match holds key to Bryan becoming the next champion. Now that Kane is not a part of the Elimination Chamber which is extremely disappointing, Bryan now has a lot of possibilities of winning. Irrespective of who the World Heavyweight Champion is, Daniel Bryan can come up with a great match at WrestleMania. His previous Wrestlemania moment was completely absurd, with he lasting only a 18 seconds inside the ring. This time we can expect Bryan to end up in a match that proves to be worthy of the talent that he posses.

If the Big Show is the champion, then Bryan can go into WrestleMania bringing back his old feud against Show. Both Big Show and Daniel Bryan were previously in a feud during Bryan’s MITB victory. Irrespective of Show’s size, Bryan has the ability to make the match look interesting. Also, Big Show is an equally experienced wrestler who will be able to sell Bryan’s moves convincingly.

Should Alberto Del Rio retain the World Title, which looks more likely at the moment, then we can expect a completely new and fresh feud with the possibility of Bryan turning heel. Unlike his gimmick in ROH, Bryan does not have a persona here that makes a statement and this feud can just be the right platform for that.

It is always wise for the WWE to start building on its future, now that the past wrestlers are finding it difficult to give us their best, making it all the more important for wrestlers like Daniel Bryan to become World Champions.
