Dominik Mysterio is a third-generation American Professional Wrestler and the son of legendary Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio. He has been on WWE television since he was 6, where he appeared on the ringside to support his father Rey Mysterio, and was also involved in the Eddie Guerrero & Rey Mysterio storyline. Dominik Mysterio started his career as a pro wrestler in 2019. Dom and his father became the first father-and-son Tag Team Champions, by winning the SmackDown Tag Team Championship. Dominik however joined the Judgment Day. He then wrestled his father at WrestleMania 39 which was the second father vs son match in WrestleMania. Dominik is one of the most successful heel wrestlers with two NXT North American Championship reigns.

Dominik Mysterio called Rhea Ripley Mami partially because Eddie used to call Chyna Mami. Ever since Dominik turned heel, by attacking his father Rey Mysterio, and joining The Judgment Day, he claims himself as the son of Eddie Guerrero, by recalling the 2005 storyline between Eddie Guerrero & Rey Mysterio, where they fought for Dominik’s custody. Dominik claims himself as this generation's Eddie Guerrero and adopted Eddie’s “Latino Heat” gimmick.
