Ever since their debut on Raw the Wyatt family has managed to make the headlines for one reason or the other. The trio has been creeping out the fans with their captivating promos and backstage takeouts. When Bray Wyatt tweeted that he had a plan for everyone before his debut, not many would’ve expected the stable to take out the lights of Daniel Bryan and CM Punk.
The motives are still unknown with the only light shed on the issue being Wyatt’s claim that the Devil made him do it, and what underlies could be a big push for the trio who are yet to get a chance to showcase their talent on a big stage.
WWE has been trying to reopen the Attitude Era text book for a while with the introduction of the disturbing Wyatt family into a family friendly roster being the prime example for the move. And Triple H will be looking to propel his project to much better greatness as his previous ones crash landed without much impact.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
Arguably the most entertaining part of the Raw, the Wyatt family is in desperate need of a bigger stage to show the fans that they are here for a long run and with the Survivor Series in the horizon, there might not be a better time for them to come into the main event scene. The attacks in the backstage easily project a traditional Survivor Series match for the creepy guys along with some of the popular names in the company.
The storyline is right in front of the fans, Wyatt family attacked Daniel Bryan who has been the biggest thorn in the eyes of Triple H and they took out CM Punk, who also has a past with the COO and what does that mean? Triple H being the “devil”. It will make all the sense if Triple H is calling all the shots. And like that we are going to have a potential traditional Survivor Series match featuring some of the hottest properties in the business at the moment. The Wyatt family, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan might be confirmed for the match but still both teams will need some additions to complete the lineup.
With Big Show already booked to go up against Randy Orton, both of them can be taken out of the equation and that leads us back to the attacks of the Wyatt Family. Bray has been cooking up some heat with the Miz which automatically classifies him as an eligible teammate for Punk and Bryan. The last member of Bryan’s team will be a tricky one but Kofi Kingston will be the right candidate as he adds the high flying entertainment quotient to the match. And as for the fourth member for the Wyatt family, Kane seems to be in love with his new suit which opens the door for Ryback or a returning Mark Henry. Either wrestler could match the intimidating persona of the Wyatts but Henry would be a favorite since Ryback has been engaged in a backstage bully gimmick and of course Henry is bald and has a beard.
The attacks would make sense if all of it culminated in a match in the Survivor Series like mentioned above but unlike The Shield, the feud for the creepy guys is likely to be set in such a way to enhance Bray Wyatt as a singles wrestler meaning that he could walk out of Survivor Series with an intriguing storyline against either Punk or Bryan, which will give him the bigger push that he needs now.
As for now all we can do is sit back and enjoy the things unfold. The closer we get to the Survivor Series, the clearer things will be, anyway The Wyatt Family is up for a big push and it’s coming sooner or later till then the creepiness is going to captivate the fans and give them food for thought.
