Every wrestling fan surely knows the name - DIY, the hottest duo in the history of NXT. The former brothers, now bitter enemies, are known for their in-ring athleticism and endurance. Both are currently signed to WWE NXT, and are playing heel roles.
A year ago in the main event of NXT Takeover: Chicago 2017, DIY battled their last match against the Authors of Pain, in a grueling NXT tag team championship ladder match.
After battling hard for about 20 minutes, the Authors of Pain were successful, and as the audience started to leave their seats, an unexpected moment happened, Tommaso Ciampa turned heel and battered Johnny Gargano. Since that day, their rivalry has been the highlight of WWE NXT.
They have faced each other multiple times in some of the best matches in WWE history, and should clash once again in the future.

Recently, WWE put a twist in the storyline by turning Johnny Gargano heel as well. Creative perfectly executed his heel turn on Aleister Black, and on this week's edition of NXT, we witnessed something unexpected, as Tommaso Ciampa helped Johnny Wrestling win his steel cage match against Aleister Black.
All this happening on WWE NXT tapings has made the show confusing, as well as more interesting, because this clearly signals WWE Creative want to make their rivalry an example for the ages.
Johnny Wrestling as a babyface was one of the most beloved wrestlers in WWE, and his heel turn was pointless, as there was no reason to turn him.
Many wrestling observers believe that all this was pre-planned to make this rivalry more interesting, and down the road, maybe at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn 5, WWE will finally turn Gargano into a face, and allow him take revenge on Tommaso Ciampa by taking his WWE NXT Championship.
What do you think about Johnny Gargano winning the championship at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn 5? Let us know in the comments.
