Why would Rey Mysterio return at Hell In A Cell? Sure, the WWE has done some pretty random stuff recently. Kevin Owens quitting then reappearing a week later; Braun Strowman turning heel and partnering with Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre.

But even those events you can explain. Rey Mysterio showing up at Hell In A Cell, there's no reason for him to. Hell In The Cell wasn't a match Mysterio was famous for--Sure it might come across as a surprise, but why waste it at an event that already has a lot going on.

Some rumors about Mysterio's return include a potential run with Randy Orton, but with Orton already booked in a match with Jeff Hardy which promises to have some pretty extreme moments, adding Rey Mysterio in any capacity would feel out of place. If they want to have an impact with the return of Rey Mysterio, then the WWE needs to not only properly hype up the return, but have a reason for the fans to want to see it.
