Roman Reigns' return to WWE was the moment Solo Sikoa realized that his time as 'The Tribal Chief' might come to an end soon. It was also the moment Cody Rhodes realized that his former rival might not be the same tyrant he dethroned at WrestleMania 40.

Fans expected Roman Reigns to return with Jimmy Uso or Paul Heyman, if not both. However, The OTC returned alone which raises questions about his allies. Ideally, Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman's best chance for avenging themselves is by staying united with Reigns. It so happens that The American Nightmare had once made a prediction about the former Undisputed WWE Champion, claiming a time would come when Roman Reigns would not have a reign, would not have a family, and would not have a tribe.

Well, that time is now and Reigns stands all alone, ready to redeem himself. WWE might be building toward a storyline where The Original Tribal Chief begins his redemption arc from scratch, and all by himself.

Furthermore, keeping Reigns a lone wolf can only work to his advantage. It will be a great way to showcase the power The OTC has and what he can achieve by himself. During his time as the leader of The Bloodline, Roman Reigns received assistance from other members of his faction. But now, all he has is himself against Solo Sikoa and this new and savage Bloodline.

To make the babyface character strong, WWE might continue to keep The OTC by himself until it's time for The Bloodline Civil War.

Former WWE writer gives his opinion on Roman Reigns laying out the new Bloodline

The Original Tribal Chief assaulted The Bloodline during the latest episode of WWE SmackDown. He finished off his assault by taking out Tonga Loa with a steel chair while Solo Sikoa watched from the ramp.

Reigns sent a message with the beating, and Sikoa knows that. Now, for Roman Reigns fans, this was a great moment. However, former WWE writer Vince Russo believes Reigns' return negatively impacted the new Bloodline's momentum.

"The normal fans, the normal people like you and I, are in the minority. It doesn't matter because the marks that watch this show are simply going to put everything and anything over. We said it months and months and months ago, this new Bloodline was definitely a step back from the original Bloodline. They were the B-Team. They were nothing more. There was no heat, we never got to know these guys on an individual basis. Now, Roman has laid them out [on] back-to-back shows."

The Big Dog is next advertised for mid-September after this week's SmackDown. It will be interesting to see how the story unfolds with Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns.
