RAW on Netflix was nothing short of spectacular, but there were some notable absentees. Becky Lynch and Penta El Zero Miedo were rumored to make an appearance, but nothing came of it. This raises the question, if true, why did WWE cancel their appearances in what was perhaps the biggest RAW of the year?

The answer to the question may be that WWE just did not want to increase the length of the show. Including the return of Becky Lynch and the debut of Penta El Zero Meido would've taken up quite a bit of time. So, in the interest of keeping viewers engaged, there is a possibility that the Stamford-based promotion canceled their appearances.

WWE has been teasing Penta El Zero Miedo's debut on RAW for quite some time now, and Becky Lynch was reportedly penciled in for a return on the show, but the idea was scrapped. However, as was revealed in a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there were a lot of changes leading up to the show. In particular, the length of the show kept fluctuating.

"As far as the show went, it was filled with changes. During the production meeting the day before they were going three hours and 20 minutes, but ended up cutting things and got it down to three hours and three minutes. However, when the show was later put up, it was edited down to two hours and 24 minutes," wrote Dave Meltzer.

Taking this into consideration, it could probably explain why neither Lynch nor Penta was featured on the show. But, at the end of the day, this is nothing more than speculation.

Penta El Zero Miedo is expected to make his RAW debut next week

Although he didn't make his debut on RAW's debut on Netflix, Penta El Zero Miedo is expected to make his presence felt soon. As mentioned earlier, WWE has been teasing the luchador's debut for quite some time. In fact, it could come as early as next week.

At the RAW premiere on Netflix, the leader of American Made, Chad Gable was seen backstage. He interrupted a conversation between Bayley and General Manager Adam Pearce to make a demand. He demanded that Pearce prepare a match for him next week against the best luchador available.

Many believe Penta could be the luchador Gable may have to face. With that in mind, all eyes will be on next week's episode of the red brand.
