As WWE is gearing up for its next premium live event, SummerSlam, in Cleveland, Ohio, on August 3, SmackDown superstars will travel to Omaha, Nebraska for this week's episode of the blue brand.

General Manager Nick Aldis will have a few things to address following his absence last week, as fans expect the title match between Logan Paul and LA Knight for the United States Championship to become official.

Other feuds fans should focus on are the ones between reigning Women's Champion Bayley and Queen of the Ring Nia Jax (with Ms. Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton on her side) as well as the rivalry between Cody Rhodes and the new Tribal Chief Solo Sikoa.

The American Nightmare and reigning Undisputed WWE Champion took to social media and revealed a schedule change that will take place on SmackDown next week.

Rhodes shared an image of his schedule and he will not be appearing on SmackDown next Friday, July 26. Still, WWE will not have a live episode of the blue brand next week and instead, they will be taping the July 26 episode once the upcoming show this week is over.

The reason for this schedule change is their Japan Tour, which will take place next week and more specifically from July 25 to July 27 in Osaka and Tokyo. WWE returns to Japan after five years.

What can fans expect to see on WWE SmackDown this week?

WWE SmackDown will be full this week, as we are heading into SummerSlam in two weeks. The company is finalizing the match card and we expect another feud to lead to a title match at SummerSlam.

More specifically, Logan Paul is set to appear on the show and address LA Knight's actions last week, where the latter showed up holding a contract and challenging the reigning United States Champion to a match.

In addition, we will see Bayley have another face-off with her next challenger Nia Jax, while also having her sights set on Tiffany Stratton and her Money in the Bank briefcase.

Last but not least, Cody Rhodes will come face to face with Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline again, as the faction has run riot on SmackDown over the past few weeks.
