This is the only championship match on the Survivor Series card, and thus it definitely draws a comparison to Tommaso Ciampa facing the Velveteen Dream.

Despite the low amount of publicity that the cruiserweight division usually receives, the stars from 205 live usually deliver awesome matches at all the pay-per-views they are involved in.

In several pay-per-views, the stars of 205 live have outshone the stars of SmackDown Live and RAW.

On paper, this fight seems evenly matched with its NXT counterpart, but in reality, it could go either way.

In terms of crowd engagement, NXT definitely has the upper hand since more people follow it than they do 205 live. On the other hand, Murphy and Ali have a definite skill and speed advantage over Ciampa and Dream.

In such a case the most prudent thing for me to do in such a case is to award the match, before Survivor Series that is, to Ciampa and Dream because of the epic build up to this match.
